Dallas, TX, August 14, 2013 - The Life Sciences Division of Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc. released its newest UV-visible spectrophotometer, Model UH5300.   The UH5300 double-beam spectrophotometer with 1-nm spectral bandwidth is equipped with the latest IT technology and a market-leading 7-year factory warranty on the pulsed Xenon lamp.  System control is achieved via an iPad®, PC, or PC w/ optional LAN package.  Standard equipment includes a 6-position automatic cell changer for added convenience and sample throughput.   The UH5300 incorporates built-in software for standard %T, absorbance, and concentration measurements as well as for DNA and protein analyses.  A wide range of accessories are available making the UH5300 a cost-effective solution for routine testing to education, water analyses, and biotechnology research.
